Christmas is a busy time of year so I am here to provide you with some great gift ideas for the naturally minded person using products from the Green Abode….
Christmas themed Epsom salts – using the food grade Epsom salts, mixed with a little red colouring and some essentials oils. Peppermint or clove is great for that Christmas smell
Stainless steel cups – a practical gift which will last for years! Got kids? These cups will not smash when knocked over
Stainless steel straws – a quirky gift which most people will love! No plastics, BPA and these will last forever!
Vanilla infused vodka – vodka with organic vanilla beans, soaked for long enough to take on the vanilla twist
Dr Bronner or Weleda soaps – these are beautiful soaps and they smell amazing. Both have been made ethically and the methods they use have taken the environment into consideration. These would be a wonderful stocking filler
Dried fruit – grab some delicious dried mango, pineapple, apple, banana, etc and make up a little jar of sulphur free organic dried fruits. If you haven’t tried these, they are delicious! Another option would be a jar of organic nuts or mix it up and use both!
Vogel sprouting jar – make your own sprouts instead of buying them from the store and only using ¼ of the punnet! Sprouts are super easy to grow and very quick. They are a wonderful source of nutrition too
Homemade chocolates – grab some organic cacao butter and whip up some organic chocolates
Biscuit mix in a jar – get a recipe and layer the dry ingredients in a jar for a colourful present. Great for day care teachers, friends and family members
Essential oil diffuser – these are great. They are a safer option than a candle and create a therapeutic aroma throughout the house. Add oils such as On guard when the is illness in the house, Serenity to create a calming vibe or a citrus smell for an uplifting mood
Teas – who doesn’t love a nice tea? There is a range of organic therapeutic teas available on the website – perfect for day care teachers, friends or as a stocking filler
